Updates: Wednesday & Thursday
Sorry for the lack of updates, we have had such a flurry of activity the last two days.
On Wednesday, we finished up the Kid’s Club (VBS). It was a great time with the kids and we know the LORD impacted their lives this week.
On Thursday, we took the train from Dumbarton (just outside of Glasgow, where we’re based) to Edinburgh (the capital of Scotland). There was a huge art festival...

Trip Update: Tuesday
Our team had another great day in Scotland. The head of the area council came by and talked with us about West Dumbarton area and explained the social climate and his vision for its future. I found it interesting to hear how some of the challenges and strengths of where we’re staying parallel those of Pittsburgh.

Trip Update: Monday
On Monday, we had our first day of Kid’s Club (VBS) for the children in the local community. We had about 20 kids. It was a great time of ministering to the kids and just having fun!
In the evening, we had an impromptu worship session with our team and a few people from the church. It was a great time of just ministering to the LORD and ministering to each other.

Trip Update: Prayer Requests

Trip Update: Sunday
What a great day!
We started off the day leading the service at His Family Church which is a part of the ministry at the Overtoun House. Our students led the worship with Kelsey at the helm. I then preached a message encouraging the believers that as followers of Christ we are no longer “just human”.

Trip Update
Here are a few updates from yesterday and today:
Friday
We arrived into Glasgow, Scotland at approximately 7:20am (2:20am Pittsburgh time). We had an interesting time at customs after arriving in the country. That story, however, we will leave for when we return. The main thing to know is, we made it. :)
The rest of the day we toured the house, did a few minor projects and slept.
