Trip Update
Here are a few updates from yesterday and today:
Friday
We arrived into Glasgow, Scotland at approximately 7:20am (2:20am Pittsburgh time). We had an interesting time at customs after arriving in the country. That story, however, we will leave for when we return. The main thing to know is, we made it. :)
The rest of the day we toured the house, did a few minor projects and slept.
Saturday
What a day so far! In the morning we completed various projects from cleaning to helping with laundry. We also worked on creative ways to help promote the ministry here by designing a brochure and table display for them. A few of our students also helped out with their Tea Room.
This afternoon we spent prepping for the Kid’s Club (VBS) we will be holding next Monday-Wednesday. It will be from 1pm-4pm in the afternoon (8am-11am Pittsburgh time). A short video of us working on the VBS stuff can be found here.
This evening we will be preparing for the church service tomorrow! We will be doing the entire service including worship, testimonies and preaching. The service starts at 10:30am (5:30am Pittsburgh time).
