Trip Update: Sunday
What a great day!
We started off the day leading the service at His Family Church which is a part of the ministry at the Overtoun House. Our students led the worship with Kelsey at the helm. I then preached a message encouraging the believers that as followers of Christ we are no longer “just human”.
During the message, four of our students took the children out and held a sunday school class. We had only found out the night before that we would be doing this and the students completely prepared their own lesson, craft ideas and puppet show. By the end of the service the children were attached to the students! :)
This afternoon we visited the Dumbarton Castle. It is one of four possible sites for Camelot and also where William Wallace was taken prisoner. There were A LOT of stairs and a beautiful view! Check out the photos here and a video from the top, here.
Tomorrow begins the Kid’s Club (VBS) which is at 1pm (8am Pittsburgh time).
